Should people in Italy clean the Lambro and the Sarno rivers? If so, how could the people clean the rivers? Can the people in Italy clean the river like the kids did to the Willamette river?

I think that they should clean the Lambro and the Sarno rivers because they are very polluted. I think that they should clean the two rivers because both of those rivers go into the ocean's were people swim and a lot of people probably do not like that. the Sarno is very polluted not because of people throwing their garbage in the river, it's the factories that dump their over waste in the river. The Lambro is polluted by people dumping their garbage into the river and sewage. I found out that you can clean a river by a clean up day. I found out that millions of people volunteers clean up the rivers in 2006 their was over two million volunteers had the most successful clean up in the world they clean about 100,ooo rivers and made them clean after they cleaned them they put signs up that say DO NOT DUMP TRASH! That is one way that the people can clean the Sarno and the Lambro rivers. Another way that people can clean the rivers is by getting garbage trucks. A lot of people help clean the rivers and then you throw all of the trash into the garbage trucks. Those are some ways of trying to clean rivers and i think that people should try to organize a national river clean up day in Italy like they do in the United States of America.

try to find a river that was heavily polluted and then got cleaned up and compare it to the Lambro and the sarno.

i found out that in Portland, Oregon a lot of kids helped clean up a river in Portland Oregon it was a small slough called the Colombia slough the slough is like a mini river that goes into a big river. I think that they can clean the Sarno river because it is not that big of a river and mostly nobody is dumping their garbage into the river the factories are dumping their over waste into the sarno river. I think that the mayor can tell the factories to stop putting their over waste into the Sarno river and they will stop putting their over waste into the sarno and people will try to clean the sarno river up. i do not think that they can clean the sarno river because it is polluted but not as bad as the sarno but it is much larger then the sarno a lot bigger then the sarno.
